KayC's Barkville at Woodmere Dog Park

Kay C’s Barkville at Woodmere is a privately-funded, 501(c)(3) non-profit dog park located on the scenic State Hospital grounds at Woodmere Park in Evansville, Indiana. Developed through years of dedicated fundraising and community collaboration, it represents both a recreational and civic landmark for dog-lovers.

Though the impressive Woodmere hospital and farm are now demolished, their name lives on in this inviting and attractive dog park design. The dog park is divided into multiple areas for small and large dog breeds. The fully ADA-compliant design includes drinking fountains, a donor recognition plaza, shade structures and approximately 3 acres of off-leach activity areas.
